Off-duty senior respiratory therapist and her husband saved an elderly man by performing CPR!

When Ms Sunitha Palanidurai and her husband were out for an evening walk, they stumbled upon an elderly man who was being supported by his friend. They quickly approached the man and realized that he was suffering from a cardiac arrest. Immediately, they placed him on the floor and performed CPR while instructing nearby passersby to get an AED. Thanks to their efforts, the elderly man regain consciousness before the ambulance arrived.

Off-duty officer saved child’s life by performing CPR.

On 27th February 2021, as SGT Al Asyraf Bin Azman was at a swimming pool of a hotel, he witnessed a child unresponsive in the water. Immediately,  he swift into action and brought the child out of the pool. Upon realising that the child was unresponsive, he quickly performed CPR on the child together with the child’s father. Soon after, the child managed to regain consciousness before medical help arrived.

Thank you SGT Al Asyraf Bin Azman for saving a heart.

3 bystanders who had witnessed a collapsed, stepped up to help save a life!

Upon witnessing a man who had collapsed, Mr Goh Chee Kean Jonathan, Ms Ker Kai Li and Mr Raymond Tay quickly rushed forward to help the man. Mr Raymond Tay quickly called for help and went to find an AED while Mr Goh Chee Kean Jonathan and Ms Ker Kai Li performed CPR on the man until medical help arrived.

A man was saved by the quick thinking of two strangers.

When Genevieve Kho Jialing was having dinner, she heard a commotion and saw that the man had collapsed. Immediately, she called 995 and performed CPR on the man with the help of the 995 medical dispatcher on the other line guiding her through the steps.

Soon after, Mohamad Syafiq Bin Mohamad Zahren who had been alerted by the SCDF’s myResponder app came and help performed CPR and asked those nearby to help get an AED. Thanks to their efforts, the elderly man was saved.
