Woman gave birth to their son after she saved her husband with CPR.
As Ashley Goette was almost ready to deliver her first child, she nudged her husband to wake up. However, when his only response was gasping for air, she quickly called an ambulance. After answering a few questions, the dispatcher realised that Andrew had suffered from a cardiac arrest and guide her through CPR until medical help arrived.
Dispatcher- Assisted-CPR plays a crucial role in improving the chance of survival of a patient. If you witness a patient collapse or suffer from a cardiac arrest, always remember to call 995 and stay on the line. Don’t worry the dispatchers are always on the line to guide you until medical help arrives.
