Air Force Engineers ME2 Danny Nah and ME1 Emerson Low were presented Letters of Recognition for saving a life!

When ME2 Danny Nah and ME1 Emerson Low were performing aircraft maintenance, they witnessed a man collapsed. They immediately stepped forward and assisted the man. They performed CPR and the use of AED on him until medical help arrived. Thanks to their efforts, the man’s life was saved!

Thank you to ME2 Danny and ME1 Emerson for stepping up to help save a heart!

Seven Good Samaritans were awarded the Community Lifesaver Award!

On 30th May 2021, when Mr Loy Kwong Choy was jogging, he witnessed a jogger who had suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed. Nearby, Lifeguards, Mr Mohammad Azhar Abdullah Sani, Mr Mohamad Noriman Bahtiar, and Mr Del Moro Dennis Ranido had heard shouts of help. Together with Mr Loy, they performed CPR and the use of AED on the man. Thanks to their efforts, the jogger was revived before the ambulance arrived!

In a second incident, Mr Andrew Chua, a SMRT station manager, saw a man who had a cardiac arrest and collapsed. He quickly rushes to the aid of the man. Mr Sheh Yusof Bin Mohamed Shaus who was nearby received a notification via the SCDF myResponder app of the incident. Together, they performed CPR and the use of AED on the unconscious man, and he regained consciousness before the ambulance arrived!

In the third incident, Mr Muhammad Nasiruddin Md Khalid noticed smoke coming out from the unit above him. Using the wet cloth to cover his mouth, he went into the unit and rescued the unconscious man out of his house with the help of his father-in-law!

Thank you to these seven good Samaritans who had stepped up to help save a life!

Off-duty Firefighters saved Man by performing CPR and use of AED!

During the Fourth of July Parade, a group of off-duty firefighters who were marching in the parade, saw a driver slumped over the wheel. They immediately stepped forward and safely stopped the truck, and perform CPR and use the AED on the man to revive him.
