11-year-old boy awarded SCDF Community Lifesaver award for helping an elderly man in distress.

Upon reaching the bus stop, 11-year-old Shreeram Subramanyam saw a man who was on the ground and in distress. He immediately checked for pulse and found that the man was gasping for air. Immediately, he alerted some passerby for help. Two men stepped forward and did CPR on the elderly man while Shreeram ran to a Neighbourhood Police Post nearby for help. When he returned to the bus stop, he was relieved to find an ambulance assisting the elderly man. With this, he was awarded the SCDF Community Lifesaver Award!

Good Job Shreeram and the two kind Samaritans who stepped up to help save a heart!
